We have created a distinctive visual system, an entire brand world, which helped the project win the award of the Russian Council of Shopping Centers (RCSC Awards 2017) and recognition as the best new shopping center in the “Super-Regional” category.
Main slogan: Where shopping meets nature. It was important for us to visualize the idea of fashion shopping and modern technologies in harmony with the surrounding nature.
The shopping center has a media façade along the whole length of the building. The architectural concept embraces the dynamics and the rhythm of the stripes: their minimalistic reflections resonate with the logo of the brand. RIGA MALL brand shows an example of a perfect balance between modern technologies and nature that can turn shopping into the pleasure and comfort.

The two colors of the logo convey the rhythm of the nature and the rhythm of the highway. Green is a direct reference to the forest and the motorway. If you look at the logo on top, you can find the highway outline. This graphic sign is a simplified model of the shopping mall architecture. The logo combines the pulse of the building itself, the image of the highway and the pattern of the forest around it.
Above all things, we have combined the interior based on the grey monolith with the exterior made from the birch wood) and turned it into a self-consistent brand vision. The design reflects our main slogan: "Where shopping meets nature". It`s designed to demonstrate that our care for the nature symbolizes our care for the visitors.
“It’s nice even to be near the shops that represent some natural printed patterns, for example. It seems that you are in a spring forest" – says the founder and art-director of agency Nikita Gorbunov.
Small architectural forms have been created in cooperation with the agency 4SPACE: the eco-design of RMU, sales points and reception.
